In 2015, it launched Phantom, a wireless all-in-one speaker recognised as the most refined and powerful on the market.
The Paris-based company, which also, of course, has offices right here in Tileyard, aspires to revolutionise the music industry and become the world leader in sound technologies by 2020.
On the way to doing so, Devialet recently hosted an exclusive event at the Royal Albert Hall. The Lost Recordings allowed guests to experience unreleased recordings by jazz greats including Sarah Vaughan, Oscar Peterson and Bill Evans.
The listening event, in partnership with Fondamenta Records, featured a Sarah Vaughn acetate – a one time only experience. Afterwards, guests entered the main hall to witness a single Gold Phantom speaker centre stage, filling the entire hall. So, now they know how many speakers it takes to fill the Albert Hall: one, as long as it’s a Phantom.
The evening was a great success, and Devialet wanted to extend a big thank you to all Tileyard neighbours who were able to make the event.
