FISE (Festival International des Sports Extremes) has, over 20 years, grown from its roots in Montpelier to become a global network of events featuring BMX, mountain biking, inline skating and wakeboarding.
It is not only extreme, it is extremely cool and growing extremely fast. That growth is being fuelled partly by the work of Tileyard-based data driven comms agency, REDTORCH.
The company specialises in “turning data into insight to engage, grow and commercialise international sports audiences”.
It has been working with FISE for a number of years, but its role has just recently been extended and it will now provide full support across the Series’ digital portfolio.
Joseph Villeflayoux, director of marketing and communications at FISE, said: “REDTORCH’s live event communications have always been world-class. It’s an obvious decision for us to expand their role to include all digital platforms.”
At REDTORCH, commercial director Alex Ross said: Everything is moving in the right direction for the FISE World Series. The inclusion of BMX Freestyle Park in the Olympics is huge. It will shine a spotlight on FISE World Series, one of the world’s biggest events to present this discipline. We’re proud to be involved in the sport at such a thrilling stage of its development.”
